I could not resist the funky, fabulous look of these Men's long-, square-toed boots from Mexico in black and off-white leather with thick white leather stitching. And even though the leather has cracks and is clearly well-worn, this has to be one of the BEST looking pairs of boots I've ever seen. So whether you want to be the most amazing stylish Breaking Bad boot-wearer in the land or have fun with spaghetti cowboy kitsch, these boots are for you! And here's why you're going to fall in love with them too. First, the leather. The tag says that the lining is pig and the outer is cow. The middle section of the upper is off-white--it's got an ever-so-slight gray tint to it--is made to look like ostrich or emu, but I don't think it actually is given what the tag says. The black sides have artistic designs in white thread going up the sides. But it's the large vinyl-looking white stitching between the light and dark panels that make the boots, not to mention that profile with the slightly longer nose, squared off at the end--classic Mexican cowboy. Note that because these are an older brand (check out that great old font in the label) that is no longer made--CHEKE Good Year Western--not to mention a Mexican boot (not to be confused with Made in Mexico--these are truly a Mexican brand) we are unsure of the size of these boots. The best we can tell is they may have been a Mexican Men's 6-1/2 (see Photo 5) which would be a US Men's 9, but we think they're bigger. Check the measurements below, keeping in mind that this style of boots has a bit more throw-away space at the toe than the average boot. The main thing is if you buy the boots, know that they might not be a perfect fit. Also make note of the cracking in leather--see Photo 5. They're in good vintage condition, but the age and wear is evident, with several small cracks.Quein es mas macho? You are, if you wear these amazing boots!**********MEASUREMENTSSole, heel to toe: just over 12-5/8" (with about 1-1/2" being the long part of the toe and thus not part of the actual foot size)Sole, across ball of foot: just about 4"Shaft, down back from top of the heel (not ground) to the top of the leather upper: 9-1/2"Side seam, from the top of the heel (not ground) to the top of the leather strap: just under 11"Heel: about 1-1/4" measuring from back to where the leather meets the sole**********Please convo with questions, or call (505) 369-6865.
