This is one of the more unusual pairs of shoes I have come across in awhile. They are obviously handmade -- I don't say this because of the craftsmanship, which is actually quite good. The handmade reference is in regards to the materials used. A thick, recycled fiber felt material, very much like the blankets used for moving furniture, makes up the upper along with black vinyl toe and heel caps. All of the upper is skillfully stitched down to a thick rubber sole and vintage B.F Goodrich heel caps. Sixteen metal grommets carry the black cotton laces. Insoles are cotton canvas. Evocative of early 1900's boot styles with a bit of steampunk and maybe even a touch of post apocalypse dandy.....I don't know, you decide! No size label, so please go by measurements, which are roughly comparable to a men's size 10 or women's 11.insole length: 11"insole width: 4.75"height: 9"These boots are in good condition, looking to have been worn very little. A bit of pilling to the fabric. Otherwise the soles and overall structure of these boots are great.
