I was told these boots were made to look antique a reproduction of shoes from the early 1900's. They do appear to have some age and I found one shoe stuffed with a 1977 newspaper. I really can't tell. They are a tan canvas with off white buttons up the sides with stiffened rounded toes. The buttons look like they may have been painted. Inside is lined in linen with some printed number and 6 which may be size. No makers label. They have a 1 1/2 inch heel. They measure 10.5 inches long and are 3 7 1/6 inches at widest part. They stand 8 1/2 inches high. Around the top button they are 8 1/2 inches. So thin ankles and legs are needed.I can fit my 8 1/2 size for Assics sneakers and 9 for Brooks sneakers 7 1/2 for shoes into these and the length is ok. I cannot do them up, they fell slightly narrow at back near heel. Condition looks good - outside has some spots whitish and some rust looking one. , couple of small dark spots. Rust around the buttons. One button is missing and one button came off and is pinned and will need sewing. Inside the one shoes I unbuttoned the lining is torn and ripped, the other one looks ok. Soles have light wear and some small pieces of leather missing.
